Elkamet inside: the Latest Indian SUV

Elkamet, Germany has decades of experience in producing extruded bottom profiles for car windshields. Elkamet is preferred supplier to all major global car OEMs. Elkamet has been Quanzen’s supplier partner for over a decade. On a domestic flight, one of our colleagues had a conversation with his co-passengers who were wearing Mahindra tees. Mahindra and Mahindra – a leading car maker in India. In the course of discussion, they were shown a sample of an Elkamet profile and explained the technology. This interaction led to further meetings that have today progressed into the long-lasting relationship between Mahindra and Elkamet.

Elkamet profiles are fitted in the newly launched Mahindra and Mahindra XUV700 giving it a premium look, reducing weight, and adding safety points in GNCAP.

Elkamet technology also reduces use of number of childparts and thus reducing overall costs.
